Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 August 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Anointed Books website at anointedbooks.digital and everything we publish or provide through it: our digital books, study guides, reference tools, free readings, and commissioned services. By using the site or purchasing from us, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Anointed Books is a publishing imprint producing biblical study resources, reference tools, ghostwritten works, and Christian education curriculum. Throughout these terms, "we," "us," and "Anointed Books" refer to the imprint; "you" refers to the person using the site or purchasing from us.

2. What we offer

Anointed Books provides the following:

  • Digital books. Full-length works of biblical study, delivered as digital editions for reading on your own devices.
  • Study guides. Companion material for group and personal study, including session structures, discussion questions, and printable worksheets.
  • Reference tools. Searchable digital resources including the 365 Names of the Holy Trinity, the 79 Names of Yahweh, and the Demonology Reference.
  • Free readings. Selected titles offered at no charge in exchange for your contact details, as described in section 6.
  • Ghostwriting. Written works produced on commission in the client's voice.
  • Course creation. Curriculum developed on commission for Bible study and Christian education settings.
  • White-label licensing. Licences permitting a client to publish an existing Anointed Books title under the client's own name or imprint, on separately agreed terms.

3. Purchases and payment

Digital books, study guides, and reference tools are sold as one-time purchases. You pay once and receive access to that title. There is no recurring charge and no subscription.

Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Anointed Books does not receive or store your full card number. Prices are stated in United States dollars and are exclusive of any taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction.

Commissioned work — ghostwriting, course creation, and white-label licensing — is quoted individually and governed by a separate written agreement between you and Anointed Books. Where that agreement conflicts with these terms, that agreement controls for that project.

4. Delivery and access

Digital titles are delivered electronically after your payment is confirmed. Access instructions are sent to the email address you provide at checkout. Please make sure that address is correct and can receive mail from us; if you do not receive your title, contact us through the contact page and we will resolve it.

We aim to keep purchased titles available to you indefinitely. We may change the format in which a title is delivered, correct errors, or issue revised editions.

5. Refunds

Because our books, study guides, and reference tools are digital works delivered immediately, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds once a title has been delivered.

If a title fails to deliver, arrives corrupted, or is not the title you paid for, contact us and we will either fix the delivery or refund that purchase. Refund terms for commissioned work are set out in the written agreement for that project.

6. Free readings and how we contact you

Two of our titles are offered at no cost. To receive one, you provide your name, email address, and phone number. In doing so you consent to Anointed Books contacting you by email and by text message about our titles, resources, and offers.

You can withdraw that consent at any time — use the unsubscribe link in any email, reply STOP to any text message, or contact us directly. Message and data rates may apply to text messages. Withdrawing consent does not take away the free reading you already received.

7. Copyright and how you may use our work

This section matters. Please read it.

Every title, study guide, reference tool, and curriculum published by Anointed Books is an original work. Ten of our titles are registered with the United States Copyright Office. All of our work — registered or not — is protected under United States copyright law from the moment it is created.

What your purchase gives you. When you buy a title, or receive a free reading, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read and use that work yourself. You may print a copy for your own use. You may quote briefly from it with attribution to Anointed Books, as ordinary fair use allows.

What your purchase does not give you. You may not:

  • Copy, upload, post, email, or otherwise distribute the work to other people;
  • Resell, sublicense, rent, or lend the work;
  • Republish the work in whole or in substantial part, in any medium;
  • Share your access credentials or delivery link with anyone else;
  • Create derivative works, adaptations, translations, or summaries for distribution;
  • Use the work, or any part of it, to train a machine learning or artificial intelligence system;
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notice, attribution, or watermark.

Teaching from a title in a class, small group, or congregation you lead is permitted, provided each participant obtains their own copy. If you want to reproduce material for a group, licence a title for your ministry, or publish under your own imprint, we offer white-label licensing — ask us and we will quote it. We would far rather licence the work to you than pursue you for using it without permission.

Anointed Books registers its copyrights, monitors for infringement, and enforces its rights. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution may result in the termination of your licence without refund and in civil and criminal liability under 17 U.S.C. § 501 and related law, including statutory damages and attorneys' fees.

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, contact us through the contact page with a description of the work, the location of the material, and your contact details, and we will investigate promptly.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to interfere with the operation or security of the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, scrape or harvest content by automated means, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.

9. Nature of the content

Our titles are works of biblical study, theology, and religious reference. They are offered for study, teaching, and devotional use. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and nothing in them should be treated as a substitute for professional care. Where we cite the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Apocrypha, or Second Temple writings, we identify those sources as extra-canonical and distinguish them from the sixty-six-book canon.

10. Third-party links and services

The site may link to third-party websites and relies on third-party services such as Stripe for payment processing. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and our digital products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anointed Books shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for that purchase.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site or to a purchased title if you breach these terms, in particular section 7. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

16. Contact

Questions about these terms, licensing enquiries, and copyright matters should be sent through the contact page.
